From 10 p.m. Sunday, August 1 until about 1 a.m. Emancipation Day, Monday, August 2, streetcars don’t operate along the route. Buses along the 504Q King shuttle-bus route replace the cars.

Theses eastbound route 504 stops do not receive streetcar service during this period:

• Dufferin Gate Loop,
• Dufferin Street at Liberty Street and King Street West,
• King Street West across from Joe Shuster Way, at Atlantic Avenue, Douro and Shaw Streets, Strachan Avenue, Niagara and Tecumseth Streets, beyond Bathurst and Portland Streets, Spadina Avenue, Blue Jays Way, John Street, University Avenue and Bay Street,
• King Street West beyond Yonge, Church and Jarvis Streets, at Sherbourne Street, across from Ontario Street and at Parliament, Sackville and Sumach Streets,
• Cherry Street at Front Street East and
• Distillery Loop.

TTC vehicles along other routes continue to serve passengers at these stops.

From 10 p.m. Sunday, August 1 until about 1 a.m. Emancipation Day, Monday, August 2, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to King Street West and Strachan Avenue, then proceed:

eastward along King Streets West and East;
southward along Sumach and Cherry Streets; and then
eastward into Distillery Loop,
ending their trips.

Eastbound buses skip their regular stops

• on Strachan Avenue at Canniff and East Liberty Streets and Manitoba Drive and
• in Princes’ Gate Loop.

Instead, eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

• on King Street West at Niagara and Tecumseth Streets, beyond Bathurst and Portland Streets, Spadina Avenue, Blue Jays Way, John Street, University Avenue and Bay Street,
• on King Street West beyond Yonge, Church and Jarvis Streets, at Sherbourne Street, across from Ontario Street and at Parliament, Sackville and Sumach Streets,
• on Cherry Street at Front Street East and
• in Distillery Loop.

Westbound buses reverse the eastbound detour routing.

Westbound buses skip their regular stops

• in Princes’ Gate Loop and
• on Strachan Avenue beyond Fleet Street and at Wellington Street West.

Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

• in Distillery Loop,
• on Cherry Street at Front Street East,
• on King Street East at Sackville, Parliament, Ontario and Sherbourne Streets and beyond Jarvis and Church Streets and
