No Stouffville-line GO trains, August 14, 15

Metrolinx continues to upgrade the Stouffville line as part of the GO Expansion Program.

GO Transit is cancelling all train service along the Stouffville line this Saturday, August 14 and Sunday, August 15 to accommodate “important track construction work”. Instead, GO buses serve passengers travelling to and from the northernmost stations on the line.

Southbound buses operate between Lincolnville and Unionville GO stations and then express — without stopping — to Union Station Bus Terminal. Some buses start their trips in Mount Joy GO station.

Northbound buses operate express between Union terminal and Unionville, then continue to either Mount Joy or Lincolnville.

GO buses don’t stop at Milliken, Agincourt or Kennedy GO stations. You can travel to and from those stations by TTC.

Metrolinx and GO plan to accommodate more passengers and increase service along the Stouffville line, as part of their GO Expansion Program (formerly “regional express rail”).
