Metrolinx and its contractors continue construction of the Hurontario light rail transit line in Mississauga and Brampton.
To accommodate upcoming LRT construction, the contractors have to install new water-main and sanitary-sewer lines under
- Rathburn Road West between west of Duke of York Boulevard to Hurontario Street; and
- Rathburn Road East just east of Hurontario Street.
Starting Monday, August 30, crews work on Rathburn East at the Hurontario overpass and over the next three months gradually shift the work zone westwards towards Duke of York. At each site, the work zone restricts traffic to just one lane in each direction, with left-turn lanes at each intersection.
