Starting Labour Day, Monday, September 6, the City of Mississauga is closing
- Old Derry Road between Gazette Gate and Historic Trail
while City contractors rehabilitate the bridge carrying Old Derry over the Credit River. The City is upgrading the bridge to extend its service life.
MiWay is detouring buses along these routes, while the bridge is closed:

Construction on the Old Derry bridge over the Credit River and the resulting MiWay detours continues until November 30.

Mondays to Fridays from Labour Day, Monday, September 6 until Tuesday, November 30, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Meadowvale Boulevard at Derry Road West, then detour:
eastward along Derry West; and then
southward along Mavis Road to Crawford Mill Avenue,
resuming their regular route southward along Mavis.Eastbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Meadowvale Boulevard across from Fengate Drive,
- on Creditview Road beyond Derry Road West,
- on Old Derry Road beyond Creditview Road, across from Spring Garden Court and Gazette Gate, at Historic Trail and Second Line West, across from Gaslight Trail and at Gooderham Estates Boulevard,
- on Gooderham Estates Boulevard across from Buttle Station Place and
- on Crawford Mill Avenue across from Buttle Station Place.
Instead, eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Derry Road West at Atwood Lane, Godwick Drive and John West Boulevard and
- on Mavis Road beyond Derry Road West and at Crawford Mill Avenue.
Westbound buses reverse the eastbound detour routing.
Westbound buses operate along their regular route to Mavis Road at Novo Star Drive / Crawford Mill Avenue, then detour:
northward along Mavis;
southwestward along Envoy Drive; and then
westward along Derry Road West to Creditview Road / Meadowvale Boulevard,
resuming their regular route northward along Meadowvale.Westbound buses skip their regular stops

- on Gooderham Estates Boulevard at Old Derry Road,
