Hurontario LRT - City Centre: Construction on Rathburn Road West affects MiWay service at terminal, overnight, September 11, 12

Metrolinx and its contractors continue construction of the Hurontario light rail transit line in Mississauga and Brampton.

Since Monday, August 30, the contractors have been relocating utilities

  • on Rathburn Road West between west of Duke of York Boulevard and Hurontario Street; and
  • on Rathburn Road East just east of Hurontario.

Overnight from 10 p.m. Saturday, September 11 until 6 a.m. Sunday, September 12, the work zone blocks MiWay bus access to on-street platforms A and L beside City Centre Terminal.

Instead, buses along these routes drop off or pick up passengers at the drop-off zone / platform C in the terminal:

  • 20 Rathburn (eastbound);
  • 26 Burnhamthorpe (eastbound); and
  • 109 Meadowvale express.

MiWay previously closed the two on-street platforms and rerouted the buses into the terminal overnight Saturday, September 4 and Sunday, September 5.
