Ontario opening another temporary road-test centre at East Gwillimbury GO Station, replacing parking spots, September 20

The Government on Ontario is opening a temporary road-test centre at East Gwillimbury GO Station next Monday, September 20. The goal of the temporary test centres is to increase the number of passenger road tests (class G2/G) available in areas where demand is highest.

The temporary centre at East Gwillimbury GO Station is in the northwest corner of the parking lot near the accesses from Main Street North and Green Lane East. It occupies about 60 out of 642 parking spaces at the station. GO says, “There is ample parking available for GO [passengers].”

Starting Monday, the temporary centre in East Gwillimbury offers class G2/G road tests from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily.

Ontario opened a temporary test centre at Oshawa GO Station Monday, August 9. It opened two more at Burlington and Mount Joy GO stations Tuesday, September 7.
