Starting Tuesday, October 5, the City of Toronto is closing
- Mabelle Avenue between Dundas Street West and Cordova Avenue
during a project to install a new water main.
The TTC is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:
- 40 Junction - Dundas West.
Water-main construction on Mabelle Avenue and the resulting TTC detour continue “until mid-December”, meaning as late as until December 17.

From Tuesday, October 5 until Friday, December 17, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Dundas Street West and Mabelle Avenue, then detour:
northeastward along Dundas West to Burnhamthorpe Road / Cordova Avenue,
resuming their regular route northeastward along Dundas West.Eastbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Mabelle Avenue beyond Dundas Street West and beside #s 49 and 25 Mabelle and
- on Cordova Avenue at Central Park Roadway and Dundas Street West.
Westbound buses reverse the eastbound detour routing.
