Sherbourne crane activity: TTC detour, October 9



From 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, October 9, the City of Toronto is closing

  • Sherbourne Street between Adelaide and King Streets East

to accommodate contractors who are lifting a crane at a construction site.

The TTC is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 75 Sherbourne.

From 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, October 9, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Sherbourne Street and Richmond Street East, then detour:

westward along Richmond East;
southward along Jarvis Street; and then
eastward along King Street East to Sherbourne,
resuming their regular route southward along Sherbourne.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Sherbourne Street at Adelaide and King Streets East.

Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on King Street East beyond Jarvis Street and at Sherbourne Street.

Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Sherbourne Street and KIng Street East, then detour:

westward along King East,
northward along Jarvis Street; and then
eastward along Adelaide Street East to Jarvis Street,
resuming their regular route northward along Sherbourne.

Northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at all regular stops.
