Update — Thursday, November 25, 11:12 a.m.: Construction on Rathburn Road West continues to affect MiWay stops at City Centre Terminal until December 17.
Metrolinx and its contractors continue construction of the Hurontario light rail transit line in Mississauga and Brampton.
Since Monday, August 30, the contractors have been relocating utilities
- on Rathburn Road West between west of Duke of York Boulevard and Hurontario Street; and
- on Rathburn Road East just east of Hurontario.
This weekend, Saturday, November 6 and Sunday, November 7 and early Monday, November 8, the work zone blocked all access by MiWay buses to the City Centre Terminal. Although the terminal reopens to buses around 11 a.m. Monday, November 8, construction continues to block nearby stops on Rathburn West. In fact, the work zone blocks access to the terminal’s platform L — on Rathburn West just west of the bus exit from the terminal.
MiWay is relocating the stops for eastbound buses along these routes:
Eastbound buses along the 107 Malton express and southbound buses along the 109 Meadowvale express route also again drop off or pick up passengers at their regular stop, platform A — on Rathburn beside the bus entrance into the terminal.

(Updated — Thursday, November 25, 11:12 a.m.) (Updated — Friday, December 17, 7:40 a.m.) Hurontario LRT construction on Rathburn L continues to block MiWay bus access to platform L at City Centre Terminal until November 26 until December 17 until further notice.
This phase of the LRT construction project does not affect the path for Brampton Transit or GO Transit buses — although passengers aboard the buses can expect delays.
Brampton Transit passengers aboard buses along this route can expect delays near the work zone:
- 502 Züm Main.
Since Monday, June 21, BT has relocated its stop from platform L on the south side of Rathburn West, just west of the bus exit from City Centre Terminal to platform O on the north side of Rathburn beyond Station Gate Road.
GO Transit eastbound passengers aboard buses along these routes can expect delays near the work zone:
- 19 Mississauga / North York;
- 21 Milton / Toronto;
- 29 Guelph / Mississauga;
- 40 Hamilton / Pearson / Richmond Hill;
- 41 Hamilton / Pickering;
- 45 Mississauga / Markham;
- 47 Hamilton / Highway 407;
- 56 Oshawa / Oakville; and
- 94 Pickering / Mississauga.
