Metrolinx contractors continue building the Finch West light rail transit line between Humber College and Finch West subway station in the Etobicoke and North York areas of Toronto.
From 9 p.m. Monday, November 15 until 5 a.m. Tuesday, November 16 and continuing overnight nightly, the City of Toronto is closing:
- Finch Avenue West, all lanes, between Romfield Lane and Keele Street
to accommodate the contractors working on the project.
The TTC is detouring buses along these routes, while the street is closed:
Overnight construction on Finch West and the resulting TTC detours continue overnight nightly until November 23 (5 a.m.).

From 9 p.m. Monday, November 15 until 5 a.m. Tuesday, November 16 and continuing overnight nightly until 5 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Finch Avenue West and Sentinel Road, then detour:
northward along Sentinel;
eastward along Murray Ross Parkway; and then
southward along Tangiers Road to Four Winds Drive,
resuming their regular route westward along Four Winds.Eastbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Finch Avenue West beyond Sentinel Road and at Romfield Lane and
- on Keele Street beyond Finch Avenue West and at Four Winds Drive.
Instead, eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Sentinel Road across from Fountainhead Road and at Murray Ross Parkway and
- on Murray Ross Parkway beyond Sentinel Road, across from Haynes Avenue and beyond Columbia Gate.
Westbound buses reverse the eastbound detour routing.
Westbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Keele Street at Finch Avenue West and
- on Finch Avenue West across from Romfield Lane and at Sentinel Road.
Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Murray Ross Parkway at Evelyn Wiggins Drive and at Haynes Avenue and
- on Sentinel Road beyond Murray Ross Parkway and at Fountainhead Road and Finch Avenue West.
