Some transit agencies are revising weekend schedules during the holidays, including Peterborough Transit and York Region Transit.

From Thursday, December 23 until Friday, January 7, 2022, PT is cancelling all late evening trips that leave terminals after 11:30 p.m.

York Region Transit
50 Queensway
Starting Sunday, December 19, buses serve passengers travelling to and from “The ROC” (the Town of Georgina’s Recreation Outdoor Campus) Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Before 1 p.m., YRT provides service to The ROC on request. Notify the bus operator that you’re travelling to the ROC when you board the bus.
After 1 p.m., call 1-844-667-5327 to request the next available bus to or from The ROC. You must call at least an hour before your trip. You may present your ROC season pass or ROC employee identification card to the bus operator as proof of payment
The opening date for the ROC may change due to weather and COVID-19 restrictions. Whenever The ROC is closed, YRT cancels service.
YRT’s Mobility On-Request North serves The ROC Mondays to Fridays.
760 Vaughan Mills / Wonderland
YRT operates with Saturday or Sunday / holiday schedules between Vaughan Mills and Finch terminals during the holiday season. Schedules correspond with the hours of operation at Vaughan Mills [mall].
- Sunday, December 19: Sunday schedules from about 8 a.m. until 9 p.m.
- Christmas, Saturday, December 25: No service along route 760.
- Boxing Day, Sunday, December 26: Saturday schedules from about 8 a.m. until 9 p.m.
- New Year’s Day, Saturday, January 1, 2022 ): Sunday schedules from about 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Buses along route 760 also operate to and from Vaughan Mills Mondays to Fridays.
