Increasing the frequency of service along a route

3 Cannon

The HSR is resuming regular service along the route Mondays to Fridays during rush hours.

Starting Monday, December 27, buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops along the route:

• every 15 minutes, instead of every 20 minutes.

The HSR is increasing the frequency of weekend service along the route.

Starting Boxing Day, Sunday, December 26, buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops:

• every 45 minutes, instead of every hour, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays after about 7 p.m.

Adjusting the schedules for buses along routes

16 Ancaster

Starting Saturday, January 8, 2022, the HSR is adjusting the Saturday schedules for buses along the route due to “operational changes to improve bus reliability for [passengers].”

44 Rymal

Starting Monday, December 27, the east- and northbound buses that usually leave Rymal Road East beyond Upper James Street at 4:21 and 4:53 a.m. Mondays to Fridays, leave, instead, at 4:11 and 4:43 a.m. The buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops along the route as much as ten minutes earlier than usually. They end their trips on platform 4 of the future Confederation GO Station at 4:58 and 5:30 a.m.

By adjusting the schedule for the buses, the HSR improves service to passengers connecting at Confederation GO Station with GO Transit buses along the 12 Niagara Falls / Burlington route.

The HSR is also making another change to service along the route.

Starting Boxing Day, Sunday, December 26, the HSR designates the stop on Upper Mount Albion Road north of Stone Church Road West as “Heritage Green Terminal platform 1.”
