GO offering "early homebound rush-hour service" along two lines, New Year's Eve, December 31



New Year’s Eve, Friday, December 31, GO Transit is operating “early homebound rush-hour service” along the 21 Milton and 61 Richmond Hill lines.


21 Milton trains
  • GO is cancelling the eastbound trains that usually start their trips in Milton GO Station at 7:48 and 8:18 a.m.
  • Early homebound trains start in Union Station at 12:40, 1:40 and 2:40 p.m., dropping off or picking up passengers in all stations. They end their trips in Milton at 1:38, 2:38 and 3:38 p.m.
  • GO is cancelling the westbound trains that usually start in Union at 4:25, 4:55, 5:10, 5:25 and 6:25 p.m.
  • The westbound train that usually starts in Union at 5:55 p.m. starts, instead, at 5:40 p.m. The train serves passengers in all stations at much as 15 minutes earlier than usually. It ends its trip in Milton at 6:38 p.m.
  • All other trains operate with their regular schedules.
  • GO is also adjusting the schedules for buses along the 21 Milton / Toronto route to replace the train trips that it has cancelled. It’s also cancelling some bus trips due to the earlier trains. Check on-line schedules or departure information signs in stations.
61 Richmond Hill trains
  • Early homebound trains start their trips in Union Station at 12:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. dropping off or picking up passengers in all stations. They end their trips in Bloomington GO Station at 1:45 and 3:15 p.m.
  • GO is cancelling the northbound trains that usually leave Union at 4:15 and 5:15 p.m.
  • All other trains operate with their regular schedules.
  • GO is also adjusting the schedules for buses along the 61 Richmond Hill / Toronto route to replace the train trips that it has cancelled. It’s also cancelling some bus trips due to the earlier trains. Check on-line schedules or departure information signs in stations.
