MiWay revising routes and services, January 3



Update — Wednesday, January 19, 12:38 a.m. — Although the Government of Ontario announced that secondary schools would reopen Monday, January 17, a major winter storm kept schools closed for two days. Schools reopen and high-school special services resume Wednesday, January 19.


Starting Monday, January 3, 2022, MiWay revises the path for buses along the 57 Courtneypark route so that they operate to and from Sheridan College’s Davis campus in Brampton. Buses no longer serve passengers in the Meadowvale Business Park or at Meadowvale Town Centre.

It’s also revising the path for buses along the 8 Cawthra route, restoring service to the Mississauga Seniors Centre Mondays to Fridays.

MiWay’s also making other minor changes to its services, including restoring regular service levels after the holidays.

It’s revising service along these MiExpress routes: 101 Dundas; 103 Hurontario; 107 Malton.

And, it’s revising service along these high-school special routes: 302 Philip Pocock - Bloor West; 304 Father Goetz - Mississauga Valley; 306 Streetsville - Terry Fox; 307 Philip Pocock - Bloor East; 313 Streetsville - Meadowvale; 314 Rick Hanson - Creditview; 315 Rick Hanson - City Centre; 321 Stephen Lewis / St. Joan of Arc; 335 Glenforest South.

Starting Monday, January 3, 2022, MiWay decreases the number of trips to and from the Britannia Infield Loop “to match [passenger] demand.”

MiWay is also revising the path so that buses operate to and from Sheridan College’s Davis campus in Brampton. Buses no longer serve passengers in the Meadowvale Business Park or Meadowvale Town Centre.

Revising the paths for buses along routes


8 Cawthra

MiWay is restoring service to and from the Mississauga Seniors Centre Mondays to Fridays from about 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Starting Monday, January 3, buses in both directions operate along their regular route to Cawthra Road and Arbour Road / Arbor Court, then proceed:

eastward along Arbor Court to the end of the street; and then
westward along Arbour Court to Cawthra,
resuming their regular route north- or southward along Cawthra.

Buses again drop off or pick up or drop off passengers at a stop

  • at the east end of Arbor Court beside the Mississauga Seniors Centre.

MiWay is also increasing service along the route.

Starting Monday, January 3, 2022, MiWay revises the path so that buses operate to and from Sheridan College’s Davis campus in Brampton. Buses no longer serve passengers travelling to and from the Meadowvale Business Park or Meadowvale Town Centre. Transfer at Derry Road West and Mavis Road to buses along the 42 Derry route for service to and from those destinations.

Eastbound buses start their trips on the campus, then proceed:

westward along Steeles Avenue West; and then
southward along Mavis Road to Derry Road West,
resuming their regular route southward along Mavis.

  • in Meadowvale Town Centre terminal at platform E,
