Rosedale Station "Easier Access" construction: TTC detouring buses, starting January 5

The TTC is continuing its “Easier Access” program to install elevators in its rapid-transit stations, making the subway system accessible for everyone. The program supports the government of Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. The provincial legislation commits the TTC to achieving a barrier-free transit system by 2025.

Starting Wednesday, January 5, construction at Rosedale Station blocks the regular platform for TTC buses along the 82 Rosedale route and Wheel-Trans vehicles.

Buses drop off or pick up passengers in the station terminal further south of the regular platform. Access between the bus platform and concourse is not available during construction. You must use the southbound platform to proceed between street and bus platform.

To improve station access, buses and Wheel-Trans vehicles also drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop on Crescent Road beside the station.
