Burlington Transit - modified schedule - January 2022.jpg

Responding to recent trends that show the number of COVID-19 patients in hospitals is rapidly increasing, the Government of Ontario is temporarily restricting access to public spaces and buildings, while also taking into account the province’s successful vaccination efforts.

Starting Sunday, January 9, Burlington Transit is temporarily decreasing its services and operating with modified schedules:

  • Mondays to Fridays and Saturdays from 5:50 a.m. until 1:30 a.m.; and
  • Sunday and holidays from 6:14 a.m. until 9:55 p.m.

Burlington Transit urges passengers to “keep each other safe at this time and only use transit to get to work and essential travel only. Travel to grocery stores or pharmacies during non-rush hour times, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.” Rush hours are from 5:30 until 9 a.m. and from 3 until 7 p.m.
