The TTC is restoring streetcar service along Queen Streets East and West between Parliament and Bathurst Streets, starting Sunday, February 13. It has detoured the cars along the 501 Queen route off Queen East and West west of Parliament since Monday, May 9, 2021,) due a construction project to replace the tracks and install a new water-main on Queen West between Fennings and Bay Streets.
Construction at the intersection of Queen Street West / King Street West / The Queensway / Roncesvalles Avenue continues to prevent the TTC from restoring streetcars to Queen West west of Bathurst, The Queensway and Lake Shore Boulevard West. Shuttle buses along the 501H Queen / Humber and 501L Queen / Long Branch routes continue to replace the cars west of Bathurst.
Since Thanksgiving, Monday, October 11, 2021, the TTC has operated buses, instead of streetcars, along the entire 301 Queen overnight route.
