Queen Street South Hamilton construction: HSR detour, February 26



From 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, February 26, the City of Hamilton is closing

  • Queen Street South between Robinson Street and Charlton Avenue West

to accommodate a construction project.

The Hamilton Street Railway is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 34 Upper Paradise.

Inbound buses operate along their regular route.

From 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, February 26, outbound buses operate along their regular route to Queen Street South and Robinson Street, then detour:

eastward along Robinson;
southward along Hess Street South; and then
westward along Charlton Avenue West to Queen South,
resuming their regular route southward along Queen.

Outbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Queen Street South at Charlton Avenue West.

Inbound buses operate toward downtown.

Outbound buses operate away from downtown.
