Metrolinx is upgrading Streetsville GO Station and improving amenities, as part of the GO Expansion Program.
Starting Monday, March 14, GO Transit is closing about 10 parking spaces. It’s using this space to store construction materials, while crews continue building a secure bike room. The secure bike room will have 32 spaces.
Secure bike-room construction at Streetsville GO Station continues until “later this spring”, meaning as late as until June 30.
Since Monday, June 21, the elevators at Streetsville GO Station have been out of service, while GO contractors upgrade them. GO says, “The elevators are reaching the end of their lifespan and these updates will make them more efficient and reliable.”
An accessible path to or from the train platform is not available during elevator upgrades.
If you need elevators to get from the station building tunnel to the platform:
- Board or exit trains at Meadowvale or Erindale GO Stations during elevator work at Streetsville..
- If you’re planning to drive to Meadowvale GO or Erindale GO and need an accessible parking spot, contact GO Transit at 416-869-3200 or 1-888-438-6646 (toll free).

Metrolinx and GO plan to accommodate more passengers and increase service along the Milton line, as part of their GO Expansion Program (formerly “regional express rail”).
