Mississauga Transitway: MiWay closing eastbound entrance / exit at Dixie Station during construction, starting March 14



Update — Saturday, March 19, 11:48 p.m.: MiWay has postponed the closure until March 21.

Starting Monday, March 14, MiWay is closing the eastbound entrance / exit at Dixie Station on the Mississauga Transitway due to construction. You can access the eastbound station platform or the westbound street-level entrance by using the temporary pedestrian crosswalk at platform level.

Construction continues to block the station entrance / exit at Dixie Transitway Station until further notice.


The eastbound elevator connecting the platform and street levels at the station has been out of service since Monday, July 8, 2021.


The elevator closure affects eastbound passengers travelling aboard GO Transit buses along these routes:

  • 19 Mississauga / North York;
  • 29 Guelph / Etobicoke; and
  • 40 Hamilton / Pearson / Richmond Hill.

It also affects MiWay passengers aboard buses along these routes:

  • 5 Dixie;
  • 73 Kamato;
  • 74 Explorer;
  • 107 Malton express; and
  • 109 Meadowvale express.
