Metrolinx and its contractors continue construction of the Hurontario light rail transit line in Mississauga and Brampton.
Since Monday, August 30, 2021, 2021, the contractors have been relocating utilities
- on Rathburn Road West between west of Duke of York Boulevard and Hurontario Street; and
- on Rathburn Road East just east of Hurontario.
From 2:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19 until 4 a.m. Monday, March 21, the City of Mississauga is closing to all traffic
- Rathburn Road West between Duke of York Boulevard and Station Gate Road
to accommodate the ongoing construction.
The work zone blocks all access by Brampton Transit and MiWay buses to platform O at the City Centre Terminal — on the north side of Rathburn West, just west of Station Gate Road. Instead, buses that usually pick up passengers from platform O operate, instead, from platform N — on the north side of Rathburn, just east of Station Gate.
The work zone also blocks access by MiWay buses to platform L — on the south side of Rathburn, just west of the bus exit from the terminal. Instead, buses serve passengers at platform A — on the south side of Rathurn, just west of the bus entrance to the terminal.
