Downtown Brampton water-service and roadway construction affects Brampton Transit service, starting April 18



Monday, April 18, Region of Peel contractors start a project to replace water mains and sanitary sewers and rebuild the roadways on

  • Main streets north and south between Theatre Lane / Nelson Street West and Wellington Street,
  • Queen streets west and east between Mill Street South and Theatre Lane / Chapel Street

and other streets in downtown Brampton.

Passengers aboard Brampton Transit buses along these routes can expect detours and delays:

  • 1 Queen;
  • 2 Main;
  • 24 Van Kirk;
  • 25 Edenbrook;
  • 501 Züm Queen; and
  • 502 Züm Main.

Downtown Brampton water-service and roadway construction continues until “Mid 2025”, meaning as late as until June 30, 2025.
