Starting Monday, April 25, the City of Hamilton is closing
- Beland Avenue North between Roxborough Avenue and Queenston Road
to accommodate a project to repair and replace the sewer.
The Hamilton Street Railway is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:
- 3 Cannon.
Sewer construction on Beland Avenue North and the resulting HSR detour continue until June 17.
The City previously closed Beland North for the same construction project and the HSR detoured the buses from October 4 until December 17, 2021.

Inbound buses operate along their regular route.
From 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 20 until 7 p.m. Friday, June 26, outbound buses operate along their regular route to Roxborough Avenue and Delena Avenue North, then detour:
southward along Delena North; and then
eastward along Dunsmure Road to Beland Avenue North,
resuming their regular route eastward along Dunsmure.Outbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Roxborough Avenue at Beland Avenue North and
- on Beland Avenue North at Dunsmure Road.
