Bloor GO / UPX Station: Sidewalk construction blocks west station entrance, starting "the week of" May 9

The City of Toronto has been upgrading sidewalks on the north side Bloor Street between Dundas Street West and Perth Avenue. Since Tuesday, January 18, the work zone has blocked the east entrance into the station.

Starting “the week of” Monday, May 9, crews relocate the work zone. GO is reopening the east entrance and closing the west entrance.

This changes how you access Bloor GO / Union Pearson Express Station:

  • The work zone blocks the north sidewalk between Dundas Street West and the west entrance of the station.
  • If you are walking from the TTC’s Dundas West Station, head southward along Dundas West and cross Bloor Street West at the signals to the south side. Cross Dundas and continue along the south sidewalk eastward toward Perth Avenue. Cross Bloor West at the signals to access the north sidewalk. The east station entrance on Bloor remains open.
  • You can also access the station by heading northward along the east side of Dundas and through the passenger pick-up and drop-off (or “Kiss and Ride”).
  • Directional signs in the area contain information to help guide you along your way.

Crews work on this part of the project “for approximately four weeks”, meaning as late as until June 11.
