Since Monday, May 9, GO Transit contractors have been repairing platform curbs at the east end of platforms 1 and 2 in Pickering GO Station. GO says the work will “enhance and maintain safety and improve accessibility”. Tuesday, May 24, crews end construction on the east ends of both platforms and start on the west ends.
This temporarily affects how your board or exit trains.

Travelling to Pickering GO Station
- Board your train at the east end of platforms 1 and 2. The work zone blocks the west end of the platforms.
- Look for signs with information about where to board your train. Remember to spread out along the available space to help keep everyone safe.
- Both tunnels, the pedestrian bridge and all stairs will remain open.
- The accessible ramp will be available to those who need to board the accessible coach throughout the construction.
- The contractors block about ten parking spaces closed in the west parking lot to store construction equipment. GO says, “There will still be plenty of parking spaces available.”
