Starting Tuesday, May 24, the City of Toronto is closing
- Attwell Drive between Disco Road and Carlingview Drive
to accommodate a project (.pdf) to rebuild the roadway and install new sidewalks and curbs.
The TTC is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:
- 45 Kipling.
Construction on Attwell Drive and the resulting TTC detour continue until August 15.
The City previously closed this section of Attwell for the same project and the TTC detoured buses from Monday, December 13 until Tuesday, December 28, 2021.
45B Kipling via Belfield
From Tuesday, May 24 until Monday, August 15, southbound buses start their trips on the entrance road to Woodbine Racetrack at Carlingview Drive, then proceed:
southward along Carlingview to Attwell Drive,
resuming their regular route southward along Attwell.Southbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Attwell Drive beyond Disco Road, beside #s 452, 414 and 396 Attwell and at Carlingview Drive.
Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Disco Road and Attwell Drive, then detour:
westward along Disco;
northward along Goreway Drive;
eastward along Clubhouse Road; and then
south- and eastward along the entrance road to Woodbine Racetrack to Carlingview Drive,
ending their trips.Northbound buses skip their regular stop
- on Attwell Drive beyond Disco Road.
