From 10 p.m. Saturday, June 4 until 10 a.m. Sunday, June 5 Ontario Ministry of Transportation contractors are repairing the bridge carrying Highway 401 over Kennedy Road and the various ramps between the highway and Kennedy.
The TTC is detouring buses along these routes during construction:
^ Note that although the map indicates a detour for the 943 Kennedy express route, the TTC doesn’t operate buses along route 943 Saturdays and Sundays.

From 10 p.m. Saturday, June 4 until 10 a.m. Sunday, June 5, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Kennedy Road and Sheppard Avenue East, then detour:
eastward along Sheppard East;
southward along Midland Avenue; and then
westward along Progress Avenue to Kennedy,
resuming their regular route southward along Kennedy.Southbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Kennedy Road at Sheppard Avenue East and Jade Street, across from Village Green Square and beyond Antrim Crescent.
Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Sheppard Avenue East across from Reidmount Avenue, beyond Lamont Avenue and at Midland Avenue,
- on Midland Avenue beyond Weybright Court, at Emblem Court, beside #2220 Midland and at Progress Avenue and
- on Progress Avenue beside #80 Progress and beyond William Kitchen Road.
Northbound buses reverse the southbound detour routing.
Northbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Kennedy Road across from Antrim Crescent, at Village Green Square, beyond Village Green Square and at Cowdray Court, Collingwood Street and Sheppard Avenue East.
Instead, northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Progress Avenue beyond Kennedy Road, across from William Kitchen Road, beside #77 Progress and at Midland Avenue,
- on Midland Avenue beside #2265 Midland and at Goodland Gate and Salome Drive and
- on Sheppard Avenue East across from Lamont Avenue and at Reidmount Avenue and Kennedy Road.
