From Monday, June 6 until Wednesday, June 8, GO Transit is suspending train service to and from St. Catharines and Niagara Falls due to construction. Canadian National Railway contractors are working on the rail bridge spanning the Welland Canal in St. Catharines.
The train that usually starts in Niagara Falls GO / VIA Rail Station at 5:57 a.m. starts, instead, in West Harbour GO Station at 7:13 a.m. The train that starts in Union Station at 5 p.m. ends in West Harbour, instead of Niagara Falls, at 6:18 p.m.
GO buses along the 12 Niagara Falls / Burlington route continue to serve Niagara Falls Bus Terminal and drop off or pick up passengers at all regular bus stops between the bus terminal and Burlington GO Station. Note that the buses stop at Fairview Mall terminal in St. Catharines, not the St. Catharines GO / VIA Station.
