From 9:45 p.m. Friday, June 10 until 5:15 a.m. Saturday, **June 11, GO Transit along the 01 Lakeshore West line don’t operate to and from Aldershot and West Harbour GO stations. Trains only operate as far westward as Burlington GO Station. Canadian National Railway crews are working on tracks along the west end of the corridor, which, GO says, “will help us deliver even more service in the future.”
Buses replace the trains.
Starting 9:45 p.m., all westbound trains leaving Union Station end their trips in Burlington. Board buses along the 18S Lakeshore West route to continue further westward to Aldershot, the Hamilton GO Centre and West Harbour.
Buses start their trips in Burlington at 10:50 and 11:50 p.m. and 12:50 and 1:50 a.m. They leave Aldershot at 11 p.m., midnight and 1 and 2 a.m. They leave the Hamilton GO Centre at 11:15 p.m. and 12:15, 1:15 and 2:15 a.m. and end in West Harbour at 11:25 p.m. and 12:25, 1:25 and 2:25 a.m.
The eastbound train that usually starts its trip in Aldershot at 10:55 p.m. starts, instead, 15 minutes earlier at 10:40 p.m. The last eastbound train to Union Station won’t start in West Harbour at 11:13 p.m. and leave Aldershot at 11:25 p.m. as usually. Instead, it starts in Burlington at 11:31 p.m. If you’re travelling from West Harbour and Aldershot, board at bus along the 18S Lakeshore West route to Burlington, where you can connect with the train.
