Starting Monday, July 4, City of Mississauga contractors start a project

• to rehabilitate the bridge carrying Burnhamthorpe Road West across the recreational trail between Glen Erin Drive and South Common Court.

During construction, passengers aboard MiWay buses along these routes can expect delays:

• 13 Glen Erin; and
• 26 Burnhamthorpe.

The work zone blocks access to two stops on the south side of Burnhamthorpe West:

• stop #0349 beyond Glen Erin Drive; and
• stop #0350 at South Common Court.

Instead, route 13 passengers can exit or board buses at the previous stop on Glen Erin at the walkway to Romark Mews or the next stop in South Common Centre terminal. Route 26 passengers can exit or board buses at the previous stop on Glen Erin at Burnhamthorpe West or the next stop in South Common Centre terminal.

The work zone may also affect Oakville Transit service. Passengers aboard buses along this route can expect detours or delays:

• 24 South Common Centre.

Construction on Burnhamthorpe West and the resulting MiWay and Oakville Transit service changes continue until August 31.
