Mount Joy GO Station: Investigative drilling, August 8, 9



Metrolinx plans to upgrade Mount Joy GO Station, as part of the GO Expansion Program.


Monday, August 8 and Tuesday, August 9, GO Transit contractors block two spaces south of the passenger pick-up and drop-off area or “kiss and ride” to drill bore holes to investigate underground conditions and help plan future construction.

Metrolinx and GO plan to accommodate more passengers and increase service along the Stouffville line, as part of their GO Expansion Program (formerly “regional express rail”).
