Metrolinx and its contractors continue construction of the Hurontario light rail transit line in Mississauga and Brampton.

Since Monday, August 30, 2021, the contractors have been relocating utilities

  • on Rathburn Road West between west of Duke of York Boulevard and Hurontario Street; and, 2021
  • on Rathburn Road East just east of Hurontario.

From 1:45 until 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, the construction zone blocks bus access to City Centre Transit Terminal. Overnight MiWay buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops on Rathburn Road West, instead of in the terminal.

MiWay offers passengers overnight service to and from City Centre Terminal along these routes:

  • 2 Hurontario;
  • 3 Bloor;
  • 7 Airport; and
  • 17 Hurontario.

During the closure, the buses drop off passengers at the terminal’s platform L — on the south side of Rathburn West, just west of the bus exit from the terminal. They pick up passengers at the terminal’s platform A — on the south side of Rathburn, just west of the bus entrance into the terminal.
