Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25, GO Transit is replacing trains with buses along the 71 Stouffville line during construction and maintenance on the line.

GO buses replace all trains Saturday and Sunday, dropping off or picking up passengers in Union Station Bus Terminal and Unionville, Centennial, Markham, Mount Joy, Stouffville, and Old Elm GO stations. Buses don’t operate to and from Kennedy, Agincourt or Milliken GO stations. Board TTC trains and buses to travel to and from these stations. York Region Transit buses also serve passengers travelling to and from Milliken GO Station.

Southbound

  • Buses start their trips in Old Elm at 7:25, 8:25 and 9:25 a.m. These buses drop off or pick up passengers at all stops to Unionville and then operate express — without stopping — to Union Station Bus Terminal.
  • More buses start in Mount Joy every hour from 10:40 a.m. until 9:40 p.m. These buses also drop off or pick up passengers at all stops to Unionville and then operate express to Union Station Bus Terminal.
  • The buses don’t stop in Milliken, Agincourt or Kennedy.

Northbound

  • All GO buses start their trips in Union Station Bus Terminal.
  • Buses leave Union terminal every hour and operate express to Unionville. Some buses continue to drop off and pick up passengers at all stations to Mount Joy. After 9 p.m., some buses continue to Old Elm.
  • The buses arrive in stations at different times than the trains usually do. Check schedules for times.
  • Some buses only operate between Union and Unionville. Check departure boards before proceeding to your bus.
  • The buses don’t stop in Kennedy, Agincourt or Milliken.

This weekend, track work on the Stouffville Line supports the Kennedy GO station enhancement project and the Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit line.
