GO trains skip St. Catharines GO Station due to construction, starting October 11

Starting Tuesday, October 11, GO Transit trains along the 01 Lakeshore West line don’t drop off or pick up passengers at St. Catharines GO / VIA station. Construction of new track — part of a project to rehabilitate a bridge over the Welland Canal — temporarily blocks train access to the station.

GO train service to and from St. Catharines resumes “spring 2023”, meaning the station remains closed to GO trains as late as until June 30, 2023.
