- Toronto Transit Commission — 19 Bay, 94 Wellesley, 505 Dundas, 506 Carlton streetcars, 506C Carlton shuttle buses.
The Friday, October 7 event affecting transit service is: a Canadian Football League game.
The Saturday, October 8 events affecting transit service are: the Brampton Farmers’ Market; a Major League Baseball game; and the Rockton World’s Fair.
The Sunday, October 9 events affecting transit services are: the Rockton World’s Fair; and the Toronto Latin Fiesta and Parade.

- Wellington Street West between George and Main Streets South
Saturday morning and early afternoon to accommodate the city’s weekly farmers market.
GO Transit is detouring service while the street is closed.
This is the last market of the season.

From 6:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, October 8, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Downtown Brampton Terminal, then detour:
eastward along Nelson Street West; and then
southward along Main Streets North and South to Wellington Street,
resuming their regular route southward along Main South.Eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at all stops.
Westbound buses reverse the eastbound detour routing.
Westbound buses skip their regular stop
- on Wellington Street West at George Street South.
Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stopping
- on Main Street South south of Wellington Street East.
A Major League Baseball game also affects service along this route Saturday, October 8.

You can ride any HSR bus free of fare to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats game against the Saskatchewan Rough Riders Friday, October 7 at 7:30 p.m. — if you hold a valid ticket to the game.
With the HSR’s Ticket to Ride program, you can ride free of fare to Tim Hortons Field for as much as two hours before game time and free of fare from the stadium until the end of service.
2 Barton
Buses serve all local stops between the Hamilton GO Centre, downtown Hamilton and Barton Street East at Lenister Avenue North — just one block north of Tim Hortons Field.
3 Cannon
Buses serve all local stops between the Hamilton GO Centre, downtown Hamilton and Cannon Street East at Balsam Avenue North — just south of Tim Hortons Field.
Tiger-Cats Express shuttles
From about 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 7, free HSR shuttle buses also speedily transport ticket-holders from three terminals across the city to the stadium. After the game is over, they’ll shuttle you back again. You can view the schedule for the shuttle service here.

Kitchener - Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Parade
The parade blocks Weber Streets East and West Saturday morning and early afternoon. GO Transit is detouring buses while the street is closed.
25 Waterloo / Mississauga
From 7:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thanksgiving, Monday, October 10, buses in both directions detour and skip their regular stops in downtown Kitchener. Board buses on King Street East at Montgomery Road or on University Avenue West [Waterloo] near Wilfrid Laurier Universit y.

westward along Old Highway 8;
eastward along City Highway 8;
southward along Brock Road;

The Toronto Blue Jays meet the Seattle Mariners in an American League Wildcard game in the Rogers Centre at 4:07 p.m. Saturday.
Anticipating heavy traffic along the Queen Elizabeth Way and Frederick G. Gardiner Expressway before and after the game, GO Transit is revising bus services.

Toronto Latin Fiesta and Parade
The City of Toronto is closing:

to accommodate the Hispanic American Heritage Council’s event.
A parade proceeds along St. Joseph and Yonge streets to Yonge - Dundas Square at 10 a.m. Sunday. The fiesta continues in the square until 7 p.m.
The event affects TTC services.

Expect delays from about 10 a.m. until noon Sunday, October 9, as the parade passes along St. Joseph Street at Bay Street.
