Bloor Street West crane activity: TTC detour, October 14, 15, 16



From Friday, October 14 until Sunday, October 16, the City of Toronto is closing parts of Bloor Street West somewhere between Christie and Bathurst Street to accommodate crews who are lifting a crane at a construction site.

The TTC is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 300 Bloor - Danforth overnight.

From Friday, October 14 until Sunday, October 16, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Bloor Street West and Christie Street, then detour:

northward along Christie;
eastward along Dupont Street; and then
southward along Bathurst Street to Bloor West,
resuming their regular route eastward along Bloor.

Eastbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Bloor Street West at Grace Street, Manning Avenue, Palmerston Boulevard and Bathurst Street.

Westbound reverse the eastbound detour routing.

Westbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Bloor Street West at Palmerston and Manning avenues and Christie Street.

After 8 a.m. Sunday, October 16, the TTC extends the detour routing to accommodate the Toronto Waterfront Marathon.
