Oakville Transit has announced that it’s detouring its buses from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, October 24, “due to a planned road closure on Forsythe Street.”
The closure affects buses along this route:
- 14 Lakeshore West.

From 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, October 24, eastbound buses operate along their regular route westbound along Rebecca Street to Forsythe Street, then detour:
westward along Rebecca; and then
northward along Wilson Street to Bond Street,
resuming their regular route westward along Bond.Eastbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Forsythe Street across from Head Street and
- on Bond Street across from Chisholm Street.
Instead, eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop
- on Rebecca Street at Chisholm Street.
