John Street crane activity: Brampton Transit detour, October 22



From 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, October 22, the City of Brampton is closing

  • John Street between Centre Street South and Lynch Street,

while crews remove a crane from a construction site.

Brampton Transit is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 8 Centre.

From 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, October 22, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Centre Street South and John Street, then detour:

northward along Centre South;
eastward along Queen Street East;
southward along Lynch Street and the Lynch Street extension through the Peel Memorial Hospital campus;
northward along Truman Street; and then
westward along Queen East to Centre,
resuming their regular route northward along Centre North.

Westbound buses operate along their regular route to Centre Street North and Queen Street East, then detour:

eastward along Queen Street East;
southward along Lynch Street and the Lynch Street extension through the Peel Memorial Hospital campus;
northward along Truman Street;
westward along Queen East; and then
southward along Centre South to John Street,
resuming their regular route southward along Centre.
