No GO trains between Oakville GO Station and Union Station, October 23



GO Transit is reducing train service along the 01 Lakeshore West line tomorrow, Sunday, October 23 to accommodate maintenance projects and Metrolinx construction of the future Hurontario light rail transit line. GO says, “We’re carrying out important work that can only take place when trains are not running.”

GO trains won’t operate between Oakville GO Station and Union Station tomorrow. Instead, buses operate between Oakville and Union Station Bus Terminal, stopping at Clarkson and Port Credit GO stations. The buses leave stations at different times that the usual train departure times.

Trains operate hourly between West Harbour and Oakville GO stations. If you’re travelling to Long Branch, Mimico or Exhibition GO, board MiWay buses or TTC buses and trains.

Trains to and from Niagara Falls continue to operate, but GO is adjusting the schedules and the trains don’t proceed beyond Oakville. Niagara trains trains don’t stop in St. Catharines until spring 2023 due to construction, and tomorrow only, they don’t drop off or pick up passengers in Port Credit, Exhibition and Union.
