Metrolinx continues upgrading Kennedy GO Station as part of the GO Expansion Program. It’s also building a mobility hub at the station, where passengers can connect with GO Transit trains along the Stouffville line and TTC trains along Line 2 Bloor - Danforth and Line 5 Eglinton — the Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit line.

Starting Monday, November 28, GO Transit is closing the west platform near the [TTC](http://www.ttc.ca/_ station and **opening a permanent east platform beside Don Montgomery Community Centre.
- If you are arriving at Kennedy TTC station, use the pedestrian tunnel to access the east platform (TTC fare is not required to access this tunnel). The TTC parking lots have no direct access to the new east platform.
- Follow directional signs and give yourself extra time to get used to the new location.
- A new passenger pick-up and drop-off area is open by the east platform.
- You can’t access the east platform through an elevator from the pedestrian tunnel.
- Dignity Transportation shuttle service will be available, upon request, for transportation between the west and east side of the station.
- Ask for transportation by Dignity 48 hours in advance by calling GO at 416-869-3200 or 1-888-438-6646 (toll free). Look for signs to guide you to the shuttle bus stops.
At the end of the project, you’ll benefit from:
- A new Kennedy GO Station building and station entrance on the east side of the tracks;
- A new GO Transit passenger pick-up and drop-off area(or “Kiss and Ride”);
- A second track and platform with a pedestrian tunnel;
- Covered platforms with snow-melt systems; and
- Better accessibility.
