The City of Toronto and the TTC continue their ongoing project to replace the streetcar tracks and improve the street infrastructure
- at the intersection of Queen Street West / King Street West / The Queensway / Roncesvalles Avenue
and nearby.
Starting Friday, December 2, the TTC is temporarily closing the eastbound stop on The Queensway across from Glendale Avenue due to the construction. The westbound stop at The Queensway and Glendale Avenue remains in service.
Passengers travelling eastbound to St. Joseph’s Health Centre can exit a shuttle bus along the 501L Queen route at Roncesvalles Avenue, cross to the north side of the street, board a westbound 501/301 Queen service, travel one stop and exit at Queensway and Glendale (beside the health centre).
Passengers travelling eastbound from St. Joseph’s Health Centre can board a westbound bus at Queensway / Glendale, and exit at Colborne Lodge Drive. Cross to the south side of the street and then board an eastbound bus.
Passengers who are able to do so, can also walk between St. Joseph’s and Roncesvalles Avenue. This requires three minutes walking time.
