HSR revises services, January 1



The Hamilton Street Railway is making minor changes to its services, starting New Year’s Day, Sunday, January 1.


The HSR is revising service along these route: 20 A-Line express; 27 Upper James; and 33 Sanatorium.


20 A-Line express

Starting Monday, January 2, the HSR adjusts the Monday-to-Friday schedule for buses along the route so that the last **inbound bus arrives in the Mountain Transit Centre earlier than previously. The bus leaves John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport at 12:44 a.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays. It ends its trip in the Mountain Transit Centre at 12:50 a.m.

By adjusting the schedules, the HSR improves service to passengers wanting to connect with an inbound bus along the 27 Upper James route.

33 Sanatorium

Starting Monday, January 2, the HSR adjusts the schedules for buses along the route Monday-to-Friday evenings “to improve service reliability.”

27 Upper James

Starting *New Year’s Day, Sunday, January 1, the HSR operates more buses in both directions early mornings before about 7 a.m. Extra inbound buses improve service for Amazon employees hoping to travel to downtown Hamilton and connect with buses along other routes. Extra outbound buses reduce crowding.
