Hurontario LRT - Courtneypark: Construction blocks access, MiWay detouring buses, starting January 24

Metrolinx and its contractors continue construction of the Hurontario light rail transit line in Mississauga and Brampton.


Starting Tuesday, January 24, the work zone for the construction project blocks east-west through traffic on Courtneypark Drive at Hurontario Street, near the future Courtneypark LRT stop.

MiWay is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 57 Courtneypark.

LRT construction continues to block Courtneypark Drive at Hurontario Street and MiWay continues to detour the buses until March 17.

From 10 p.m. Tuesday, January 24 until 10 p.m. Friday, March 17, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Courtneypark Drive West at Maritz Drive / Kateson Drive, then detour:

southward along Kateson;
eastward along Prologis and Annagem boulevards; and then
northward along Edwards Boulevard to Courtneypark East,
resuming their regular route eastward along Courtneypark.

Eastbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Courtneypark Drive West at Hurontario Street.

Instead, eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop

  • on Prologis Boulevard at Hurontario Street.

Westbound buses reverse the eastbound detour routing.

Westbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Courtneypark Drive East at Edwards Boulevard and Hurontario Street.

Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop

  • on Annagem Boulevard at Hurontario Street.
