Metrolinx and its contractors continue construction of the Hurontario light rail transit line in Mississauga and Brampton.
Starting Thursday, January 26, the work zone for the construction project blocks east-west through traffic on Skyway Drive / Superior Boulevard at Hurontario Street, between the future Derry and Courtneypark LRT stops.
Brampton Transit is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:
- 2 Main.
LRT construction continues to block Skyway Drive / Superior Boulevard at Hurontario Street and BT continues to detour the buses until March 3.
2 Main
From Thursday, January 26 until Friday, March 3, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Maritz and Skyway Drives, then detour:
southward along Maritz;
eastward along Hansa House and Ambassador drives; and then
northward along Edwards Boulevard to Superior Boulevard,
resuming their regular route northward along Edwards.Southbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Skyway Drive at Hurontario Street and
- on Superior Boulevard beyond Hurontario Street.
Northbound buses operate along their regular route.
