Durham Region Transit is “implementing service adjustments to increase service reliability and to improve connections with GO Transit, starting Tuesday, February 21.
DRT is revising service along these routes: Route 112; Rute 403B; Route 410; Route 502; PULSE 901; Route 920.
Specifically, it’s: increasing service along routes; and adjusting the schedules for buses along routes.
Increasing service along routes
PULSE 901
Starting Tuesday, February 21, DRT operates earlier and later buses to and from Lakeview Park Mondays to Fridays.
The first southbound bus arrives westbound on Lakeview Park Avenue east of Ritson Road South at 5:30 a.m. The last southbound buses arrives on Lakeview Park at 11:27 p.m.
The first northbound bus leaves Lakeview Park at 5:33 a.m. The last northbound bus leaves at 11:27 p.m.
DRT is also adjusting the schedules for buses along the route.
Route 112
Starting Tuesday, February 21, DRT operates buses on two new southbound trips along the route Monday-to-Friday evenings. The buses leave Burkholder Drive south of Belcourt Street at 7:19 and 7:49 p.m. They end their trips in Pickering Parkway Terminal at 7:47 ad 8:17 p.m.
Route 403B
Starting Tuesday, February 21, DRT operates a bus on a new southbound trip along the route Monday-to-Friday evenings. The bus leaves Oshawa Centre terminal at 9:40 p.m. It ends its trip southbound on Oxford Street north of Phillip Murray Avenue at 9:52 p.m.
Adjusting the schedules for buses along routes
PULSE 901
Starting Tuesday, February 21, DRT adjusts the schedules for buses operating along the route early Monday-to-Friday mornings and late evenings.
DRT is also increasing service along the route.
Route 112
Starting Tuesday, February 21, the southbound bus that usually leaves Burkholder Drive south of Belcourt Street at 6:04 a.m. Mondays to Fridays leaves, instead, at 5:51 a.m. The bus drops off or picks up passengers at stops on the route as much as 13 minutes earlier than usually. It ends its trip in Pickering Parkway Terminal at 6:18 a.m.
DRT is also increasing service along the route.
Route 410
Starting Tuesday, February 21, DRT adjusts the departure times for buses operating along the route Mondays to Fridays from 1:20 to 2:20 p.m. By adjusting the schedules, DRT says it’s “improving service reliability.”
Route 502
Starting Tuesday, February 21, DRT adjusts the departure times for buses operating along the route Mondays to Fridays from 3:21 and 6:51 p.m. All eastbound buses leave Church Street east of Temperance Street nine minutes later than usually. By adjusting the schedules, DRT says it’s “improving service reliability.”
Route 920
Starting Tuesday, February 21, DRT is adjusting the Monday-to-Friday schedules for buses along the route to improve “service reliability.”
