From 8 until 3 p.m. Sunday, February 26, the City of Hamilton is closing
- Hunter Street West between Hess and Queen streets south
to accommodate contractors who are lifting a crane at a construction site.
The Hamilton Street Railway is detouring buses along these routes, while the street is closed:

Inbound buses operate along their regular path.
From 8 until 3 p.m. Sunday, February 26, outbound buses operate along their regular path to Hunter Street West and Bay Street South, then detour:
northward along Bay South;
westward along King Street West; and then
southward along Queen Street South to Hunter Street West,
resuming their regular path westward along Hunter West.Outbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Hunter Street West beyond Caroline Street South and at Hess and Queen streets south.
Instead, outbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Bay Street South across from George Street and
- on King Street West at Caroline Street North.
