Yonge Street Holland Landing construction: GO, YRT detours, starting March 6

Starting Monday, March 6, the Region of York is closing

  • Yonge Street (Regional Road 51) between Old Yonge Street / Holland Landing Road and Yonge Street / Highway 11

in the Town of East Gwillimbury during a construction project to improve the roadway and build a retaining wall. Closing the roadway accommodates the large equipment that is helping contractors install the anchors for the retaining wall and ensures the safety of travellers and construction crews.
