Around the Bay 30k Road Race

The Cities of Burlington and Hamilton are closing various streets Sunday to accommodate the annual road race — the longest-running annual event of its kind in North America — supporting the St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton Foundation and other local charities.

Burlington Transit and the Hamilton Street Railway are revising service during the event. Race participants follow a course that starts and ends in downtown Hamilton, but also stretches to the east end of lower Hamilton and into Burlington, so detours are extensive.
