Dixie GO Station: Platform improvements, starting March 28

Starting Monday, March 28, GO Transit crews start a project to improve the platforms at Dixie GO Station. To accommodate the work zone, crews are setting up construction fencing on the west half of the platform.

Train doors open from the accessible platform (mini-ramp) and all coach doors further eastward along the train. If you’re boarding at Milton-line train at another station and intend to exit the train at Dixie, board a coach east of the accessibility platform. Listen to on-board train announcements, advising you which coaches open doors at Dixie GO.

When arriving at Dixie, look for directional signs with information guiding your to the open pathway to access the platform and trains.

GO expects to complete platform improvements at Dixie GO Station “in May”, meaning construction continues as late as until May 31.
