Starting 7 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, the City of Hamilton is closing
- Gatestone Drive between Beachgrove Crescent and Loneoak Crescent [south]
to accommodate crews who are maintaining the catch-basins.
The Hamilton Street Railway is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:
- 43 Stone Church.
Catch-basin-maintenance on Gatestone Drive and the resulting HSR detour continue until April 6.

Westbound buses operate along their regular path.
From 7 a.m. Wednesday, April 5 until 5 p.m. Thursday, April 6, eastbound buses operate along their regular path to Isaac Brock and Gatestone drives, then detour:
eastward along Isaac Brock;
southward along First Road West; and then
eastward along Highland Road West to Gatestone;
resuming their regular path southward along Gatestone.Eastbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Gatestone Drive across from Beachgrove Crescent and at Highland Road West.
